Subject:Re: B4 leslie speed MIDI footswitch?

I owned both the XM1 and XM2. I was unaware that either drawbar controllers sent midi of any kind as there are no midi jacks on them, only the mini connector that binds them to their modules. I knew they sent out NRPN messages. Maybe the Hammond modules they connect to are needed for those Midi Cc messages?

The XM-1 sends cc50 for the upper manual, 51 for the lower and 52 for
the pedals. Each drawbar has a range of the data for the cc used so
upper 16' = cc50 0-8, 5 1/3' = cc50 9-17 and so on. I believe the XM-
1 footswitch generates NRPN (99, 98 and 6 + data) messages and sends
them. The XM-2 does. I used to use an XM-1 as a drawbar controller
for the XK-3 lower manual. It did a good job.

Also, a Peavey PC1600x can be programed to act as a drawbar
controller. They are no longer made but sometimes show up on eBay.

Good Luck
