Subject:Re: MO8 vrs S90es

The MOTIF 8 is not the same as the MO8. Those are two different beasts. The Motif 8 had the same piano as the S90ES from what I could tell (although it may have just sounded that way to me). The MO8 however definitely had a different piano sound to it, and it was not as nice as the Motif 8 or S90ES.

Leo,

I own the S90es and love it. If you really need a sequencer than get the Motif 8. That's what the difference was for me. I just needed a good weighted keyboard with decent sounds for gigs. As far as the grand piano sample is concerned with the S90, I can't say if its better than the Motif 8. They sounded the same to me.

Both are great keyboards.

sounds and 88 weighted keys. Also know the MO8 has a
more sophisticated sequencer. I believe the S90es is
suppose to have a newer, better sampled grand piano.
How much better is this piano compared to the MO8? At
about $500 cheaper (if the piano sounds are close) the
MO8 would seem to be a much better buy.
Thanks much for any comments.
