Subject:Is anyone using the E-Mu 1616M laptop interface?

I have an acquaintance who likes his E-Mu 1616M laptop audio interface for
live work using NI B4 II. I'm thinking about going that way myself. Is
anyone else using it, and if so could you share your experience? Do you
think its overkill? Are the upgraded coverters worth an extra $100 in your
opinion? Is it built to last? What brands did you reject in favor of the
1616M?
