Subject:Need help with mixer and effects placement

I recently purchased powered speaker (msr400) along with my PRo3x and
want to use a mixer for a little more eq and volume control. I'm not
sure where to place it in the signal path - along with tube preamp and
reverb.
mixer -> preamp -> reverb -> amp
preamp -> reverb -> mixer -> amp
any help is appreciated
