Subject:RE: New CX-3 keys different that older CX-3?

I had both the first generation new cx3 and the new bx3.The first lipped cx3
was lighter to the touch but (I don’t know the term)it “repeated or
rebounded” when played staccato and choppy.Hence it was corrected with the
subsequent release. Apparently the C1 and the Bx3 are the same
keybeds(Fatar) with possible differences in the springing(according to my
local dealer).

It was on an X stand. It's just that my lipped key
CX-3 has such nice light keys and the new one felt
much heavier. It really is hard to describe in
writing the difference. On mine, it is occasionally
possible for the key to even bounce a little if it is
tapped down and allowed to just pop up; on the new one
I would doubt that would ever be possible. I guess as
they say its always good to try before you buy.
