Thats a bit strong. Fact is it requires significantly different wiring
for 220 mains, and a *custom wound transformer* - all of which drives
up production costs.

Of course, it is totally possible to purchase a 110v model and your own
external transformer, unless you are driving a 220v 6 pin or 9 pin
Leslie - then you have to have 220v mains entering the preamp.
