Not to raise the adversarial flag again, but, the Electro I had definitely had the beating sound when the Leslie sim was up to fuill speed. To me it was different than that ugly phasing sound the early Hammond X models had where the sound whooshed in and out of phase.
I admit to being extremely tough on new gear so this might also be a matter of me "looking" for deficiencies. At the same time, if it isn't pleasing to my ears and it's not darn close to the real deal then I can't justify the dough.
On a happier note, I just ordered the XM2 and the XMC2.
I like my XK3 quite a bit so I'm looking forward to trying this thing out. This gets me down to one keyboard, the Motif, as a controller and also as a great piano source.
Any comments on the XM stuff? Good or bad? Something to beware of?
