Hmm, I guess I didn't fully understand what exact beating you guys are
referring to. Perhaps something I missed until now.
Please fill me in: is it some kind of low frequency beating or something
in the higher frequencies - or is it some kind of unpleasant
intermodulation (= two sounds produce and unwanted third signal)?

Same problem with the XK2. I actually spoke with some engineers at HS
re: this way back when, and they admitted to the issue and had no
interest in hearing about solutions.
The XK3 does not do this. Neither does the VK7 and I would assume the
VK8.
The Electro does it on internal sim.
I never noticed it in the B4.
