To Dan(s) A & S, Bruce, Lou, et.al., thanks for your posts. I had decided to back away from the m-audio just from reading the manual, but wouldn't have gotten it w/o trying it out first to see about the action. Your posts indicate that wouldn't be a good experience, so that saves me from even searching one out. Also the more I thought about it, there was something that just wasn't "quite there" about trying to hang a 55lb. keyboard over a 33lb. dual manual one just to get a weighted action. At this point I'll probably use a Kurz. PC2R module that failed to sell on ebay a few months ago. The GEM sounds interesting, but it doesn't have bass sounds. Plus I'm not even sure how it sounds & how much it costs. And after springing for the C1 it makes much better financial sense to make use of what I already have at home. Thanks again for your responses.
