Ben,

It really surprises me to hear you describe the action as "light and
bouncy". The action on mine is heavier than the action on my Yamaha
Grand, which is why I prefer to use my S90ES as my primary practice
keyboard. After practicing on it, my Grand and my Nord Stage 76 play
like butter. Maybe the one you played had had the crap pounded out of
it, I don't know. I've heard several people say that they thought
that the action on the ES was too "heavy" or "stiff", but I've never
heard it referred to as being too "light" before.
