Darren,

Same here, I was pretty dissappointed in the piano sounds. I think
unless you're running in stereo the internal sounds don't work well
for gigging. I decided to keep it though because of it's portability
and feel. I use it on the gig with my Motif rack, and I do like the
stereo sound through headphones for practice.
