Subject:Re: Electro pianos

ok Chuck ... I'm an Electro owner .. had it for a long time and have experienced exactly what youre talking about ... first, I stopped trying to use the Leslie similator and used a Leslie 142 .... you can get the tone a little closer on the Leslie similator by putting a "dummy plug" in your left output and make it stop merging your left/right into a single output ... this will help get the "mud" out of the middle..... The electric keys are great! ... Download "Rhoads2" for a rhodes sample ... it is great in my opinion... for a piano ... just give up ... I use the CP80 sample ... the problem with piano, in my opinion, is a lack of velocity response with the keyboard in combination with their funky stereo samples for mono playing people.

I take it for what it is .... a GREAT emulation of a B3 when used with a SE preamp and Leslie ... bonus is a wonderful rhodes, wurli, and clav ... lately I've been hard panning it and running left out to leslie and right out to my Blues Jr ...LOVE IT!

Hope it gets better!

Bo
