That's odd...

Mine has been over 3 years in an AC room and never ever had a prob.

Nothing connected via MIDI? If yes. is it receiving incoming messages
that maybe are causing the malfunction?

When you say"...Re-booted several times..." you mean on/off or did you
INITIALIZE to original factory settings several times?
