Drives me nuts too ... I have the Electro and grew up on a souped up '36 BC with a trek II percussion and had that low octave and could left hand the bass ... I understand that you can do this on the B4 software .. but I agree ... it should be an option on all clones.

Subject: [CWSG] Lowest octave foldback..

When it comes to hammonds and clones, and the way everyting works and
sounds, with the foldback, percussion, C/V and all, there has always
been one thing that has bothered me, and that is the lack of the
lowest octave on the lowest drawbar. I think there are some hammond
models that go all the way though. Maybe its the RT3?
Im not sure..

Im no expert, but im guessing that this was only a matter of cost, to
not have the last eleven tonewheels in the generator.
Just like the overall lack of foldback in the spinet models.

But, wouldn´t you like the keys to go all the way down, instead of
applaying foldback in the lowest octave?

Personally, i would really love to see and hear this on the new
clones, or at least have the option of doing it.

Thats the only place where i actually think the hammond sound could be
improved.

How about you guys?
