Many modern jazz players still prefer no chorale because the bass notes are
clearer, the chorus vib is clearer, and the transition to fast speed is more
dramatic from a complete stop.

I do agree that if leslies had been 2 speed back in the day, full stop might
not have remained so popular.

When Joey D used my rig, he had me unplug the slow motors.
