The Nord C-1 sound engine is new from the ground up. The core
tonewheel sound, perc, vibrato-chorus, everything,is new. And it
weighs 32 lbs VS 57 to 68 lbs for dual manual keyboards that are out
there. Plus if there is a sound improvement, you download it for free.
If this keyboard got any smaller it would look like a Rhodes piano bass.
