Points.

1.Thanks Frederico for the info on what looks like a potential
“breakthrough” product and I hope that you will still answer any questions
we might have.

2.At this point according to Sonja and her company officially has nothing to
do wirh this product.Thank you Sonja for the clarification.

3.Sonja in my opinion please feel free with respect to engage and interject
as you please as I also welcome you.

4.I hope any distributor who does sell this product in North Amercia will
test, service and back the the product like (in David Jacques words) the “big
boys”.When I say big boys I do not necessarily mean the large companies. If
the product is as good as it initially seems it will require at least that..

My $.02

Sonja,

With all due respect, I understand your point of view. But when a product or
company excites us, we talk about it, official or not. When a company
disturbs us or upsets us, we talk about it, whether offical news or not.
Your "advice" comes accross as a reprimand not to talk about unofficial
things. And that will have the result of killing the "buzz" about your
product. And that, believe me, can impact your company and your product
negatively.

As an example, just search for the threads on here dealing with the new Nord
Clavia C1 organ. People were speculating and guessing and wondering about
all kinds of features and such. None if it was official, and much of it was
inaccurate. But talking about it was exciting! It put wonder in our lives!
It put anticiaption into our hearts! And when the product did come out, some
of what we discussed was correct and some was total baloney. But so what! We
were eagerly anticipating the product and are now excited as hell that it's
here. I can't even afford one, but because of all the excitment on here I
lust for one, and my someday save for one.

In you tone, you are telling us, don't talk, don't speculate, don't think
about anything that might not be 100% correct. Would you kill the fever of
dedicated clonewheel customers by supressing the their need to share and be
a mutually supportive community? Because what your emails suggest or imply
is just that. In fact, YOU are likely to be a benefactor of all the buzz
around the Nord C1, because it was such an improvement in clonewheels, that
we expect even more in future products. And NOW, your product may be the
next big improvement.

With all due repsect. Monitor these chats, correct anything you feel is
desperately wrong if you feel the need by providing simple accurate
information. But please, do NOT tell us what to talk about, when to talk
about it, and let us grown ups evaluate the quality of the information we
get from each other.

Right now, you have made YOU, the topic of conversation, not your product.
And so you have begun to kill the buzz around your product. You might want
to just monitor us, appreciate the excitement, but not comment about it. At
this point, you are your company's worst enemy. Please let your products
speak for themselves.

Gene
