If you go to:
keyboardmag.tv
You'll see Chester is playing a B3 with a Leslie in back of him. In
some of the magazine photos, you can see the Canon video camera they
used. In those photos you see that the Roadboax is not plugged in to
anything (maybe I should say, nothing is plugged into the Roadbox).
Considering the audio is apparently just what is captured by the
camera mics, the equipment he is playing sounds wonderful. Of course,
I saw Bobby Lyle playing with Young-Holt back in the early 70's, and
he was playing a Farfisa, and he sounded wonderful. Chester would
sound wonderful playing a $2 keyboard at a garage sale, I think.
You know, now I have the feeling that I remember some story about
Young-Holt requiring that Bobby Lyle play a Farfisa, and I seem to
recall somebody apparently was a bit jealous of his immense talent.
I know it ain't the gear, it's the talent... Guess that's why I'm so
interested in the gear, like it's gonna help... :-)
