That is exactly how I took your comments; as a point of discussion, not that
you intended that you would educate this particular keyboardist.

That said, its a fascinating point. I was raised as a piano player,
although not an extremely advanced one. I played some classics and some modern
stuff and in high school joined a band and got my first organ a Farfisa.

After 30 years, I'm back again, playing both my Rolands; a 300sx piano and a
VR-760 combo. Point is, I've no idea which technique I am using more and
your question has made me aware of it. I'll be paying more attention to
observe myself. In the mean time, I'd like to hear more opinions of differences in
playing an organ versus a piano.
