The only difference in these models-A-100, A-143 etc. is the cabinet. French provential etc.
A models also have reverb. All of mine have had reverb.
If you buy a Leslie and don't care for the onboard speakers you can pull those speakers and the speaker amp and it lightens the load considerably.
They are still awkward to move since there is no hand room underneath for small moves.
A lot of folks like the A's better than B's. I've not found a big difference. Same preamp, same contacts, drawbars, tone generator and so on.

There's a A-143 for sale near me. Aside from not having the Leslie
hookup (or at least
the control), how different is this verses a B-3? I get that a B-3 has
legs, a C-3 a full cabinet,
and an A-100 is sort of a C-3 minus the leslie.
