Subject:RE: Stand for positioning 2nd manual (e.g. Doepfer) beneath VK-8/CX-3/etc.
Hugh,
My solution is not in the stand but the lower keboard
controller. It needs to have a top which is flat and
flush and deep enough to put your VK-8 on. I have an
old Akai AX80 synth I plan to modify to these basic
specs. I'll be sure to let you all know if it ever
materializes : )
On a related note: Does anyone know if it's ok to
hardwire a parallel two midi outs together? I was
thinking about doing this with the AX80 to control not
only the lower manual on my VK-7 but to also control
another synth or other keyboard. I was planing on
running the midi out through a three position toggle
switch; lower manual/both/synth. What do you think?
