Subject:Stand for positioning 2nd manual (e.g. Doepfer) beneath VK-8/CX-3/etc.

Hi again group,

An original thought occurred to me: why spend half a year's pay on a
dual manual organ when I could just buy something like a Doepfer
waterfall controller and mount it just below my VK-8, exactly where
I'd expect the lower manual to be?

I can easily buy the Doepfer controller and connect it up to the VK-8.
However, I don't think my stand, a QuikLok QL-641, is appropriate for
getting the two manuals close enough together.

Even on the lowest setting, the top tier is still twice as high as it
should be. The only 'proper' way to bring it down any further is to
tilt it, which leaves the keybed at a horrible angle. While I could
always drill new holes in the 2nd tier's vertical shafts to allow them
to go further down, the keyboard supports themselves are pretty thick
and would put even more distance between the 2 manuals.

So, my question is simple enough: are there any stands out there that
better suit this purpose, i.e. placing a Doepfer or other controller
directly below and in front of a single manual clonewheel, with as
little gap as possible between them?
