Good points Bruce! I'm glad no one brought up any David Gates/ Bread songs
cuz I like all those. "Baby I'm a Want You" is not his best but the guitar
part on "If" had a nice shimmering effect. Rock on "Bread"!!!!!

"Worst Song Ever" was written in the early or mid '70s. This shows several
things:

not stood the test of time.

tunes better than other decades. (There were equally bad songs in the
'60s, '80s, and '90s, and there are bad songs being written today.)

truly-bad-song status (ex: The Captain and Tenille's "Muskrat Love"), or
merely be a bad song that turns into a kitschy classic (ex: The Monkee's
"Daydream Believer").
