Subject:Re: [CWSG]was Korg BX-3 soft case now A 70

Absolutely. The stage is much more robust than the Electro, but I wouldn't subject it (or the more fragile plastic A70) to a gig bag. And something like the CX3/Bx3 with particle board bottom?

But wait....sounds like we're pimping for cases in general.

I'll take a pic tonite. I had to get a replacement keyboardist for my band
"Changes" so I am coaching him on some patches and parts tonite. We do a
lot of ELO and an hour tribute to Bowie. He uses a Fantom 88 but no organ
clone. After showing him my Electro and B4 with Receptor he'll probably be
joining this group tommorrow!!! He sais his Fantom doesn't have much in the
way of cool Hammond tones. I've never played one. (Fantom) Didn't know the
A 90 had two pedal jacks. I just use the "total volume" one. I mount the
UC33 on my Electro with velcro on the left side. Speaking of 88 key boards
and soft cases- I had a Kurz PC88 in a soft case years back and I twisted
it just enough to where the curcuit boards shorted out. I live near where
they are built so had them fix it. It took forever. The tech told me it
doesn't take much to mess these boards up. I got it fixed and sold it to a
student who wasn't planning on gigging with it or moving it. The 88 key
boards have this issue big time. A fragile board like the Stage is not as
heavy as the PC88 but still prone to this.

enough to get an SKB case with mine; no way would I carry that board in a
bag (plastic ya know; I can't tell you how many I've seen that have broken
end blocks). Yikes!

creative adjusting on my programming!
