Subject:Re: VK-7 vs VK-8

I just got my VK-7 a couple months ago and I'm very
happy with it. I have heard the VK-7 is overalI more
desireable than the VK-8 too. I recently realized I
could plug in a midi keyboard into "SUB IN" to play
the lower manual drawbars (I happen to have an old
Akai AX 80 61 note synth that I almost got rid of). It
works great. The only glitch is the VK-7 doesn't lay
flat because of the angle of the top and a couple of
knobs on the AX80 so I'm thinking of modding it since
I seems I'll only use the keyboard section of the
synth anyway.
