I've been using an FC-7 with my ES6 from the start and have been very
happy with it. When I got my XK-1, I bought another one. There's a
small metal plate on the bottom of the pedals that allows you to hitch
them together. When I use both keyboards on stage I do just that and
place my foot onto both of them (1/2 on each). It provides a wider area
to place your foot on (it's great if you wear triple EEE's) and this way
you don't have to worry about which pedal your working for what
instrument. The FC-7 is heavy enough to stay in place pretty well.
When you combine two of'em, they ain't going anywhere! LOL
