Subject:Site Of THE SERMON's Recording

Per the cover of JOS' "THE SERMON", this recording was made in 1958 in New
York City, at a place called Manhattan Towers. Now! From the day I was born,
literally, my family lived on Manhattan's Upper West Side... about 2.5 blocks
away from a hotel on Broadway called Hotel Manhattan Towers. It's long since,
easily 25/maybe 30 years ago, been turned into some big-time shishi hotel,
with ridiculous rates as one would expect up there.

Can anyone tell me if this is the same Manhattan Towers as was the scene of
the creation of one of the best jazz organ recordings of all time?? THANKS in
