Subject:Re: New Speakeasy 122 Amp Modeler

I see that "Modeled after" is causing some confusion. I hope to clarify
this.

Modeled after in this use means "the design was based on the acoustic
properties of". It does not indicate the products position in the audio
chain.

For those who don't already own a Vintage Tube Preamp (VTP), the 122
Absolute Modeling Amp (122AMA) position in the audio chain would be:

Keyboard->122AMA(With Preamp)->PA Speaker (8 ohms)
Keyboard->122AMA(With Preamp)->Solid State Leslie(tm) Cabinet (e.g. 2101)
Keyboard->122AMA(With Preamp)->PA Input
Keyboard->122AMA(With Preamp)->Normal Stationary Keyboard Amp

For those who have our preamp already, it would be:

Keyboard->VTP->122AMA->PA Speaker (8 ohms)
Keyboard->VTP->122AMA->Solid State Leslie(tm) Cabinet (e.g. 2101)
Keyboard->VTP->122AMA->PA Input
Keyboard->VTP->122AMA->Normal Stationary Keyboard Amp

In scenarios 1, 3, and 4 you'd be using your on board sim for Rotary
effects.

Cheers!
