Subject:Speakeasy replacement motors

With the continuing discussion on another Speakeasy product, I figure
I'd make a contribution on one of their other products. You've probably
read about my recent troubles with the lower motor in my new Leslie.
After quite a bit of discussion on here and HamTech, I think the only
possible cause for my problems is the bearings in the motor are starting
to wear. Sometimes the motor will bring the motor up to speed, but most
of the time, it never gets that far. The coast down time is still too
fast. What I'm looking for is about 40 seconds ramp up time and 30 to 40
seconds coasting time. The lower motor in my 44W can do this without a
problem and still hit full speed, but no such luck with the motor in my
142. I've done everything I can do and still no success. Since I really
don't feel the need to have a slow motor running on the lower rotor, I'd
like to try out one of Speakeasy's replacement motors. I believe I read
somewhere that these motors do not require any sort of period oiling?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'd just like to get some feedback from
people who have used these motors. Will using one of these motors solve
the problem I'm having with my current motor?
