In the pipe organ world that's known as a resultant. A pipe organ with a
stop labeled 32' Resultant is taking the bourdon (flute) 16' and playing
both low C and the G above when you play a low C pedal key. Being pretty
close to a sine wave, you get among other things, a simulation of a 32' low
C.

To put it in Hammond terms, it's like having 08 8000 000 on the drawbars.
Admittedly it lacks the fullness of really having the pitch there...
