I just got a 240V->120V transformer and hooked up my Leslie 142 to my
XK3 via the 1122 kit. Now the upper motor of my Leslie (the motor
label says "60 cycles") gets extremely hot immediately, which is
something I was afraid might happen on 50Hz power.

Will I need to get a 50Hz upper motor? Will the ones work that say
"50/60Hz" on it? (Like my lower motor does -- which works fine.) Will
a 50/60Hz motor turn at the right speed on 50Hz power, or will I just
be able to avoid the heating issue?
