Ryan, if you get a V5 or XK before I do, let us know in detail how it
works out, and how it compares to the VK8 you had before. It seems
for some styles of music (jazz and gospel) the tone has to be just
right. When I was watching the Diversi GMWA workshop videos with PJ
Morgan and Sebastian Wheat and others, I was greatly impressed with
the quality of the DV organ (V5+ engine) through the 122 and the
1771. It sounds dead on to the classic Hammond tone, with exception
of the C/V It's close, but not perfect, but it is nice and
discreet... I like it watch MikEW's RBIII promo video---you'll hear it
clearly what I mean. His V5 with the RBIII sounds just as good as in
the 122 (I prefer an actual lower rotor or at least a sim).
I've also heard the XK system in a 122 and 2101, and it sounds awesome
also.
