Subject:Piano sound????

Just curious what you guys use for your piano sounds in Rock'n'Roll
situations?? I've tried Kurzweil PC2r and it didn't cut through the mix
no matter what I did so I sent it back. I had pretty good success with
a Roland half rack piano module (but I don't remember the model), got
tired of the Roland piano sound. Also tried the Korg SG-Rack and it
worked well in the cut through area just sounded too much like the old
M1 piano and not realistic enough. I also tried a Yamaha P-50m and
really liked it because it could cut through but just didn't have a hot
enough output??? The module I've been most happy with the General Music
RealPiano Expander is great but seems to have the weak output as well
and really needs a boost on the mixer end for some real volume. I
recently tried the two piano boards in my Motif rack (PLG-150-PF & PLG-
150-AP) the PF and AP both sound great but the AP seems to lack cut
through and the PF seems thin...??? Maybe I'm just too picky, does
anyone have other suggestions??? I thought about trying some kind of
aural exciter??? To get my sound out front???
Thanks for any suggestions!!!
