Hi There. I'm loving the XK1 too. Only 3 gigs and it gets better every time. I'm really happy to have real drawbars back too after using the electro for a while. My leslie settings are 60 degree mic angle, 0.9m mic distance, 1.2 sec upper horn ramp 4s woofer ramp. I left the ramp down times where they were. i found the leslie effect was slightly cheesy with wide angle on 800000008 and similar drawbar settings. i find I need to knock down 480 hz in the eq too. I am pleasantly surprised how usable the leslie sim has been. I prefer it to the electro.

On the SPAM, er I mean raves on this list about the XK-1, I sold my Porta-Korg CX3 (to
another lister, btw) and ordered an XK-1 sight unseen (or actually unheard).
Needless to say I adore this board - right out of the undamaged shipping box and onto my 4
tier Standtastic rig.

All is well - time to tweak.
Can anyone who has successfully tweaked the Leslie sim to an even better sound care to
share with me their settings?
Thought it couldn't hurt to ask - I am impressed with the knowledge and skills that abound
on this list.
