Subject:My vote for a separate Speakeasy list

I tend agree with Matt Cleland, who suggests that there be a separate list
for Speakeasy supporters.

I may be a bit guilty of "organ envy" but I must confess that most of the
Speakeasy stuff is beyond my budget. I generally prefer to invest in real
Hammonds and Leslies.

My only real recent clonewheel purchase was a Roland VK8m, and that took me
a long time to make that decision. It was hard to get info on it, as it is
hard to get info on some of the lesser available clones such as Voce etc. Most
of the discussion here seems to be about Speakeasy.

I am generally most interested in the actual clonewheel instruments and /
or some of the do it yourself modifications to leslies, which is the direction
I prefer to go rather than put out an investment for new Speakeasy gear
that I have never seen nor heard.
