New did i buy it new??? No i bought it on a whim, it was being used in a
school, but they updated to more modern kyboards. at 20kgs for the organ its
easier to move than the Hammond M102, and at 100 watts its got twice the
poke of my horrible outdated MINT old valve leslie 145!

It was made around 1975 about the same time as the Elka Rhapsody!
This is all 100% analogue sound nothing digital at all! At the time Elka
wanted to out do Hammond as they had just bought out the X5, but as you
know, the X5 may be portable but it was heavy!
Like wise the leslie equivalent to the elka 610 leslie was the 760 and that
was nearly twice the size!
ALSO unlike the hammond X5 (where they now seem to be giving up the ghost)
this X55 has proved to be very reliable, everything works 100% and its a
very close to the hammond sound.
I dont have the space to keep it and i dont use it enough, for a portable
pair they are close to mint.
What you cant see in the pic is the lid for the organ.
