Hi Lawrence,

I can try it, but I use what you call "discords" a lot in my technique --
one of my favorite chords is the "6 add 9" (ex: C6 add 9 is c-d-e-g-a), and
I have never heard your problem. I only mention this because I won't be able
to use my BX-3 for about a week, due to my day gig.

I think your second comment is the critical point. I have had my BX3 for
almost three years, and it has never frozen -- not even once. I think you
have a hardware problem. If you are fortunate, it's just a loose connector.
