Subject:Playing as a duo

Norman. It appears the group I am in may be imploding, leaving the
guitar player and myself (keyboards) back on our own where we were 2
years ago. The idea of using midi to help flesh out what we do is
attractive, but I have no idea how to do it. I can make my two
keyboards work together as upper and lower etc., but beyond that I
don't know. I was out making a living elsewhere while the electronic
revolution took over the keyboards. Can you, or anyone, suggest some
books, websites or other to give me the basics on starting to do this.
By the way I am the guy who inquired about the Nord Stage 88. Finally
got one in to try but could not like the pianos especially given the
board was about $3,000.00 (Can) more that what I ended up with (Roland
RD 300sx).
