Steve's products are not cheap, but for those who can afford them, they are
well worth the $$$. Remember, in most cases you get what you pay for, and
after performing with several SE products I can confidently state that this
is the case. These products are hand wired and built with audiophile
components. In addition, they all carry lifetime warrantees.



Steve will even update your product for free (you just pay for shipping).
Gee, I don't think Hammond/Suzuki will update my XK3 with their new software
for free. In fact, they won't do it even if I offer to pay.

Ahem.. excuse me, but let's not get TOO carried away and insult a
great rotary amp that a lot of players use - including you - and run
it down to compliment your new AMA. The Pro145 is not a stale
compromise anything. If you feel your new AMA made your Pro145 sound
so much better.. that's good.. and interesting! Anything new you
add, even a mixer or graphic equalizer to boost your signal always
sounds fantastic the first time you hear it. I do believe you minus
Pro145 'diss' ;)

But as I've posted before, I like this idea (a lot). However I kind
of expected more from my SVT preamps than I got, post-CX3 - which it
worked great with - so am a little hesitant to buy more tubes-in-a-
chassis to fix the one pedal I have now. Did you get yours with the
SVT preamp onboard? I looked at SE's return policy and if I try one,
which would be the full deal, AO-28/122, but it didn't live up to my
(reasonable) expectations; after paying to ship it back, I'd have to
pay a 25% restocking fee. Yeesh..
