Subject:RE: Gear in trunk outside vs hot days

In theory, I would only worry about rubber that can dry/crack and sensitive
electronics. I would not even worry about most "lo tech" electronics like
amps.

In practice, I have left my Electro and two KT80 amps in my trunk for three
years of New England winters and summers. My normal rehearsal/jam gear all
fits in the trunk. I use a storage space for the larger items like the P80,
pair of Mackie 450s, stands, mixer, etc.

During the winter, I try to take the Electro out first and let it warm up,
out of the case, for as long as I can before applying power.
