I told ya Mike! She's a beautiful beast! I can only imagine how your V5 (the ballsiest of all clones, except for maybe *maybe* the XK3) makes that baby scream!

Glad to hear you got your box and are happy with it too! ( I love mine! )

Hi all. This is MikeW. Me and my son went to the Speakeasy
facilities today. Long drive but it was worth it. We were greeted by
Steve Hayes who is a man who cares about everything he does and it
shows. U can see Love encircles this man from his animals (3 horses
and a poodle)to his Family (Beautiful Wife and well mannered
respectful boys). The main horse saw Steve walk towards him but when
he saw me and my son, he backed off. Steve had to make him come to
us. Hmmmmm. Maybe it was the deorderant I was wearing or bad breath
who knows(Just Joking Laughing)then we went on a tour of his
business and I was impress. Every thing was there.Fender Rhodes ,
Wurlitzers , Vox Continentals, chopped hammond organs and leslies. He
even has parts for Crumars!!! He has a working corner his co workers
Shawn and General Manager Ted confine him in. Now to the coup-de
grats!!! I look at this RDbox III and I was taken by the way it
looks. It really looks like a reduced leslie. I set up my rig and
Whamo, My V5 plus sounds just like it did
when it was plugged into the 122 at church. It had the chorale
sound i was looking for.Midrange and high notes , vibratos and
choruses and percussions were much more pronounce than ever. Gear
Lust began to set in. I had to have it.Guess what ? It fit in my
Saturn SL2 Sedan with a little pushing.Oh Man Yes. Yes I took it
home knowing I'm going to get it(Mrs. Westbrooks). Guess I'll be
sleeping on the couch tonite.I don't care. I had to have that
sound!!!Soon as I got home I set it up against my Pro3t and lowpro
combo. Much bigger than the combo. I set up my rig again but this
time with my pedal board. The bass notes were there but I wasn't
feeling it kind of low in volume. Here the low-pro seem to have the
edge but when I put the RDBoxIII up against the wall the bass began
to shake the house and as I turn up the volume the bass got louder
and gave that RdBoxIII presence. The King had stepped into the room.
Gospel Organists are going to notice this box because this thing
really really gives you a sound of the big boy(Leslie)! And its
PORTABLE!!Its heavy but i can lift it myself. Yes the money was well
spent no need to buy anything else.RoadBoxIII is a keeper. What I
realize about this box is that when the speaker (12) and the
rotating horn opening is facing you , its a rock organist dream
because it cuts but when you turn it around it becomes mellow a
gospel organist dream!!!!Wow Steve U went and reinvented the
LESLIE!!!!Look out you Hammond, Roland, Nord , Korg, Viscount owners
There's a new sheriff in town and it is the V5 plus with the
RoadBoxIII combination !!!!!! MikeW.
PS
A recording will not do this box justice . Either u go and check it
out for yourself or buy it and if you don't like it return it. But
it is a must that u hear this thing!!!!! MikeW.
