Subject:Those other rotary speaker units....

Addendum to my previous message...

In all fairness - with regard to the other rotary
sytems I referred to, there was one that did its' job
quite well: The Motion Sound R3 147: a rack mounted,
mics fully enclosed upper rotor/lower simulator
system. For my application at the time, it worked
great. And, in my opinion, it was their best
innovation. But, it's been discontinued for a few
years now.........

If you don't need a cabinet, and an upper rotor/ lower
rotor simulator system is appealing, I would recommend
the R3 147 over having to wrangle with mic issues on
the current M/S or H/S gear. My brief experience with
the Pro 3T's various mic 'options' was like fishing in
the weeds. And, when I was consider the unit, my
discussions with H/S about interconnecting the 2101
was confusing, at best. But, if some of you have made
those options work out for you, that's a good
thing....

But, if you want an R3 147: start hunting on Ebay. And
good luck...

A
