Subject: [CWSG] Need help to show how a different rotary speaker sounds

Hi :)

I've built a system that should be useful to replace a
Leslie. It is a 400W powered amp with speakers and it
gets rotation in a different way.
Details here: www.sknote.it ("RealLS").
I'm impressed by the first sound tests. If it will
show to be very good I'll build a "no-software"
independent version.

I would like to get a good take of the sound, can
somebody interested in this experiment help me about
recording techs?
I can use:
- 1 large dia multipattern condenser mic
- 1 small dia cardioid condenser mic
- 1 ribbon "8-pattern" mic

Advantages of this toy should be:
- easy to transport
- no moving parts
- efficient
- cheap
- very versatile (even for experiments like three or
four horns)

A link to a good document would be good, too.

Thanks :)

Quinto
