Subject:Re: Gator Semi-hard cases

Intersting...

the gator I see which are used.. are very damaged with holes in them.
If you have tocary onely your keyboard there is no problem but when it is next to other gear this gear boxes will bump on your gator box and the gator is not hard enough.. so it will brake

If you're going to ship them by air with expensive pieces of gear, I'd
take extra care. I think Gator is "medium" quality for air shipment,
in other words, good, but not the best). I would pack every square
centimeter of space around the keyboards with cut foam. Then after
closing them, I'd put a few wraps of the heaviest packing tape you can
get around the side-to-side width of the whole case - the center and
half-way to each end. If customs has to open them (maybe only xray?)
they might be kind enough to retape them. I'd still put them in the
extra cardboard box. Wj
