Subject:Re: Pro-145 trimpots
Duh....doesn't John know how to do this? He's already had you take the unit apart and fix the trim pots...maybe you should just design it for him too!
Hey, Steve Hayes...thanks again for all the great service. I read posts like this and just shake my head and know you are too!

I got a response from John about the new trimpot and he seems to think
maybe the previous one was already damaged and was going outside of its
design range. Anyway, he went on to say that earlier prototypes of the
Pro-145 had a horn/rotor disable switch on it to cut power to the
rotors. However no one ever cared about it so it was never implemented
into the final version. He said there are ways to disabling the lower
rotor power enabling it to coast rather than it being slowed down by the
electronic motor (which slows down way too fast IMO). He said a
technician with a schematic set could make a custom mod for me. Does
anyone know anything about how this could be done?
