Subject:Leslie switch

Hi all,
Have any of you purchased a NEW leslie switch lately? I did to wire
it for my KBR 3-D. I'll be standing up so a switch velcroed to the
front of my CX3 is more convient until I install a kick switch on the
volume pedal I use for the CX3. The reason I ask is this,
1. the switch is junk. It shorts out way to easily. I had a 60's
switch with a damaged case and I transfered that switch to the new
case. No more shorting out. The older ones on my B-3 never did that.
2. The knob keeps flying off. I finally glued it on and so far so
good. I did notice that the new switch used a piece of Brass sheet
metal instead of spring steel to hold it on. The spring steel from the
older switch got lost.
