Well, I had received some private emails and responses on this forum.
I also got an email from Dave Amels. Here is part of what he said:

"The two units are very different. The V5 has 91 digital tonewheels
while the MicroB is a voice architecture synth. The V3 and V5 don't
suffer from the "beating" effect from which the older, less expensive,
architecture suffers."

So, the Micro B is on it's way back to 8th Street in exchange for a
V5. Having owned a B3 in the past, I am looking foward to having real
drawbars again. Thank you all again for your time!
