Gotta admit...the Spirit tunes we play are some of my favorites. Very few people know the song Nature's Way but we always get compliments when we perform it. It one of those songs that really fit our band and we've got the moving harmony parts nailed. It's further fun for me cause I've added thunder storms, kettle drums, people coughing, etc to the mix so it's kinda fun to see people's reaction to it. I've Got A Line On You is another crowd pleaser we do.
Oh well, enough ramblings about Spirit, but it is one group I use to test EP sounds, and AP sounds too.

Yes you may have aged yourself with your Spirit comment, but I too use a
Spirit song for testing EPs a lot....Fresh Garbage. We all have our test
beds!
I had a guy come up to me after our first set the other night after we
played Nature's Way and wanted to know if we did Fresh Garbage! I have never
had that happen before...could not believe someone else even knew of that
song!
