The synths and B4 run FANTASTIC! M-Tron runs great too (but you'll want to use FX to round off some edges).

My favorites are Pro-53 (and that was the last thing I bought actually!), and MiniMonstah. CS80v, which is actually the motivation for the Receptor purchase, has been a lukewarm relationship thus far. It's just a little squirrelly yet, and doesn't give me great cc control so far (need to do some remapping), but it does sound great. What's really strange is that the sounds I expected and desired from CS80v are there to be had with some tweaking, but are done more impressively right out of the box on Atmosphere. But I get great Jupiter 8 type stuff from CS80v.

I'll be much happier when I get the ccs straightened out.

(As preface, to keep this "on-topic", the rig is as follows: MuseReceptor w B4/MiniMonstah/Mtron/CS80v/Oddity/Pro-53, FantomXr, MotifRack, JD990 powered *hopefully* by Doepfer LMK4+/Ashby Solutions and Nord Electro)

Hey Kids! We're almost there.....11pm Thursday night (or maybe it's Friday morning by the time you see this) .....and the clock is ticking! It's the freakin' weekend, Thank Jah!!! And not a moment too soon. Don't mean to get all Dennis Miller on ya, but it's been feeling like the Ides of March and I've been surrounded by a bunch of first-year med students. The never-ending gray of winter getting you down? Work havoc got you wrenched? Well, here's the cure:

Saturday, March 23rd, 10p, Pink Freud at Sports Time Bar & Grill, 7801 W. 79th Street, in Bridgeview.

I'm not going to regale you with tales of "great drinks, fantastic spectacular blahblahblah": we've never been here before, so who knows? But one thing is for sure: there will be great live music, there will be alcohol....and there's a ton of parking! (wow, that's 3 things!)

And hey!!!!! As some of you heard on Steve Dahl's show, we made Buzz Kilman's Top 10 Band Name List, and we're #2!
(http://dahl.com/lists/buzz_band_names.asp) Wait a minute, that doesn't SOUND right!

While it hurts to know that we came in second to the Steve Harvey Mustache, we're proud (??) to say we're in the same company as Suicideburns and (my favorite) the Columbian Monkey Knife Fight. (come to think of it, I'm actually starting to dig the Steve Harvey Mustache!)

So come on out, have a few with us, have a few more....and let's enjoy living! (your mileage may vary)

As always, your friend....

(Selected music by Pink Floyd *of course, Tom Petty, Deep Purple, Robin Trower, Bad Company, maybe some Billy Idol, David Bowie...who knows, maybe even some Stump The Band!?)
