Subject:Boss replies to RT-20 ????

Forget it!
They are completely out and have no idea when the next shipment is coming in.
Also, they don't simply order several hundred or even 1000 of the things. They are a few and wait for them to come in then they go out, apparently in random order, to dealers who have them ordered. When they sell those they order another batch and so on.
They told me it could be some time OR I could get lucky.
This all goes back to Japan who is manufacturing the things. It could be that Japan can't make them fast enough although Roland US is only ordering so many at a time PER ROLAND.
Sweetwater has been back-ordered since February and subsequent delivery dates have been pushed farther back each time.
That's a bit scary in that they are almost impossible to get and who knows if or when they'll ever get one.
Also seems a bit stupid on the part of Roland/Boss. If I knew I could sell those things by the gross I'd darn sure order a gross of them.
